Mind in Balance journey began in 2013 due to the collective observation of partnership relations, friends, colleagues, staff and clients within the Health and Social Care sector as well as other settings.

It was through this experience Mind in Balance manifested. Our passion is to offer the opportunity for individuals to develop their authentic self, explore choices, make inform decision about their Well Being and take charge of their lives. Our core skills set ranges from providing Counselling, Coaching, Mentoring and delivering workshops.

Alongside this is the preventative work whereby Mind in Balance support young people in raising their awareness so that they can take charge of their lives now and seize the opportunity to know and grow themselves.

The question you might be asking is why these three approaches? Mind in Balance believe that Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring are effective interventions in moving people through the different stages of their life journeys.

We can passionately advocate this due to our own personal understanding and experience of these therapeutic interventions as well as the numerous national findings that supports our practice.

Within Mind in Balance we work towards you disrobing labels and embark on a journey of self-awareness, enlightenment and evolvement hence why we see those who access our service as ‘students of life’.

‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got!’

The message is clear: if what you’re doing isn’t working, do something different. A coach should offer their clients a supportive and motivating environment to explore what they want from life and then guide them on the journey towards achieving those goals. The Coach will be in service to the client assisting in committing to action, being a sounding board to their experiences and processing. The Coaches’ key role is often assisting the client to maintain their motivation and commitment needed to achieve their goal. This allows an individuals growth, development and understanding of self; the process takes into consideration both the conscious and subconscious challenges to help enable and harmoniously build your life tools. The journey is non-directive it works with the areas you bring and are in charge of to gain the desired possibilities. So as we know people seek the support of a Therapeutic Coach for many reasons e.g.

The Coaching journey is also about the healing that takes place prior to the noticeable change, however change begins with the conversation you bring to the session. Coaching helps to develop new perspectives, works with bringing you to your greater self and living the life that you desire. Being on the this journey is an exciting, boundary pushing and enlightening process, you will learn more about yourself, environment and your purpose.
