As part of practicing ethically all counselling sessions are in line with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework is covered by a contract.
The overall aims of your counselling with Mind In Balance will have been discussed and agreed in your initial meeting; however other issues may emerge as work together progresses. We will provide a confidential, non-judgemental, safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. We will assist your learning, healing, understanding and personal growth.
We will not tell you what to do, the counsellor helps you to resolve your problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness.
